We want to go for Club Med for Xmas with the Kids (2yo - 10yo) .
Should we go for the new Cancun or the new Ixtapa ?
And are there still rooms available ? Family rooms ?
Thank you
John
Based on the ages of your children, I would recommend Ixtapa Pacifc. We will launch many new programs for the youngest set, including a partnership with Crayola. Family rooms are available and the resort is an easy flight from L.A. Just keep in mind that Ixtapa will open with more of a "boutique" feel for the first several months, with full staff, facilities and services but only 96 rooms. If you are looking for a resort with a larger guest population, then Cancun, with its 384 rooms would be a better choice. I do recommend you book sooner that later, as the holiday weeks fill quite quickly.
sounds like you are not available anymore for the Xmas weeks. Too bad...we have been Ixtapa members for the last 4 years and our kids love Ixtapa. We now need to look at other option.
As of today, we still have space available for the December holidays at all of the resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean--but the best way to get the information is by calling 1800Clubmed.
Can you confirm if the Fanmily Rooms are in fact two seperate bedrooms or more of a junior suite? Are there balconies or terraces in any of the family rooms or just teh family Suite and does every Family Suite have a balcony. Sorry for all the questions.
We will be at the Club Med over xmas break and want to make sure that the laundry facilities will be open. Because of the hassle checking luggage on flights, we'd prefer to just bring carry-on bags if the laundry will be open.
thank you!
The laundry service will exist as a room service with an additional charge. Guests should put their laundry in the laundry bag, place it on top of their bed and call Reception for pick up. Laundry pick up and next day delivery are scheduled between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm every day. Laundry prices will be posted in each closet with the bag and the laundry list. Expense will be charged directly to the room account.
Hi!
Are there any coin operated or self service laundry facilities at Ixtapa? Also is there a seperate dining room and menu just for the kids with family?
Thanks!
